Default Life Coach needs help in the forest

Hi, I have rebuilt my Life Coaching website and will be launching it within the next couple of weeks.

I am beginning to become blind to the wood, the trees keep getting in the way, so I would be really pleased if I could get some independent comments about the site.

Does it tell you about life and career coaching?
Is it easy to read?
Does the navigation work?
Anything else?

Personal Life Coaching, Personal Life Coach UK - Future-you.co.uk

Thanks for you help and please don't pull any punches.

Best regards
John Berry

Hi John, and good to see you back on the forum.

Had a look at your site, easy to navigate and very informative about what you do and who you are.

A couple of things you might want to think about -

• there does seem to be a whole lot of text, is there a way you can break it down into bullet points or add some graphics/images, I could imagine a lot of people might find themselves scrolling through it all, but not reading it.

• there is also something about the colour scheme, either the red is too dark, or the green too bright - if it isn't too much hassle to adjust one (or both of these) it might be worth a try.

I hope this helps, and I didn't know what to put for your poll, sorry - an ipod nano would be nice, but then so would 3 months free coaching.....decisions, decisions!

Thanks for the feedback, the colours will be easy to change, but I might struggle to think of images that reflects what we do.

Best regards
John

I think images which refelct positivity, motivation etc. would do the job (bright skies, landscapes, sunset over a beach, a rainbow on a cloudy day) and also pictures of people - this would work well in the testimonial section - having pictures of your clients standing outside their new place of employment, with their new partner, walking their dog (have a picture relevant to their quote).

If a client doesn't want their picture shown, use stock photography ( stock.xchng - the leading free stock photography site or morguefile) which are royalty free stock image sites and do a search for the kind of people/scenes you are looking for.

If you need any ideas, either pm me or email me and I'll see if I can help.

Thanks Indy, at the moment I'm OK but if you have a link to the images, I could look at them when I refresh the website.
