Hi Will
I think your new site looks pretty good really, the colours are nice and they work together well. If I had to make criticisms they would be that the site name in the masthead isn't as clear as it could be and also, because you only have one forum my eyes are drawn to what's going on section that rather than forum content itself. Where as on this forum it's really clear what the content sections are. Sadly I don't know anything about sailing to be able to contribute to the forum itself, but I'm sure your membership will grow quickly. Lewis |

i guess the best place to start would be with local sailing clubs and things? after that possibly universities, they tend to have big sailing clubs..
maybe a press release to a sailing publication....? (sorry my girlfriend does PR so I tend to wind up thinking press releases are the solution to all problems!) |

as much as i love the logo, i hate the fact that there is no information on the site that i would deem useful if i were interested in boats, you need more than just a forum, maybe an events diary and maybe even a list and pictures of all the different types of yachts there are,
to join a forum without information on what i am talking about would make me feel very small and make me want to go to other sites to find that information out, - why not keep them at your site ? |
