Your site is the almost the same colour as mine, so I'm bound to say it's good.

Some feedback I've had from people is that mine is quite dark, which I suppose could be a good or bad thing. I quite like it though, but am trying to get some ideas for an additional site for my business - more SEO friendly and easier to update, but will probably keep a full flash site for my portfolio too.

The only thing I would consider doing with your's is to maybe increase the white text boxes to the border, and maybe put a light grey background behind the nav buttons and side nav bar. Other than that, it's all good, and at the end of the day, if you like it and it does what it's supposed to, then who is to say if it's good or not.

Look forward to talking to you soon.

Alexander,

Personally, if you're going for a 'black and white' look, I think you need some more contrast (i.e. a bit more of a balance between 'black text on white', and 'white text on black').

Is this 'colour theme' being extended to your marketing collateral, such as leaflets, brochures, business cards, etc? A consistent brand image is important, and I am not sure if the 'white text on black' will work well on traditional, printed media.

I like the black and white.
Am i right in saying that white text on a black screen is supposed to be easier on the eye compared to the traditional black text on a white screen?

Thanks for your responses.

Its actually a subtle shade of Gold not white.

And yes that is what we have on business cards etc and to be honest it looks great. We did not favour a very busy site with tons of gimmicky things all we will be adding to this is an updatable section for news etc and some pictures that our designer is working on (fading them etc).

Thanks again. And if any of you need any advice or assistance use our enquiry service.

The pics look really good Alex, makes it look a lot more finished - the sepia tone on the images works really well with your colour scheme.

Did you manage to get somebody for you logo design yet?

The only point I'd make is that the main content area seems to jump about a bit when navigating from Home to Services to Contact. If possible resize the content area to a set width.
