Default Highs and Lows

Lots of highs this week for my fledgling business. Got a few secured loans deals and I'd now got a few organisations pounding on my door wanting to do business. A personal highlight was one of my sisters giving birth too.

Anyone else had some lows and hopefully highs?

Thanks guys.

And to answer the question, they got to know about my business through the search engines. I moved up to number 8 for my targetted words on Msn just over a week ago.

For anyone wanting to know how to do SEO, I think I can sum in all up in one statement "If it takes a long time and is boring, tedious and sends you completely bonkers - then its worth doing".

Its just a shame I made a massive mistake with the site name, but I called it "We Introduce You", so that it could be a generic site (e.g. we introduce you to holidays, loans, insurance or whatever)

Huge mistake I wish I'd called it Manor Oak Finance or something of that Ilk - but I suppose I didn't think at the time I'd have so much success with such a competitive term mentioning loans.

Good Luck with all your ventures - mine's doing ok - but still a hard slog to go before the champagne comes off ice. In fact its more like Mackeson Stout at the moment

LOL...

I recently attended a SEO seminar and that's the feeling I got from it. The guy presenting it was very passionate about it, but the amount of things he advised you should check on a weekly, daily and even hourly basis to keep your search engine rank high was unbelievable. As well as constantly reviewing your meta tags, title tags and links - you have to review any possible competition too!

Stick at it and I'm sure you'll have that champagne flowing in no time at all.

ive been told that the best thing to do is to look at your competition that ranks well for the keywords you want and use the same meta data as them - as belimited says.
